Resources

To get the most out of our coaching, I encourage clients to use the prep form and reflection form for each session:

Prep Form: Preparing before the session keeps us focused on the subjects that are important to you.

Recap Form: Reflecting after the session captures thoughts, ideas and follow-ups and deepens your learning.

More coaching tools are available on my new blog “My Coaching Tools“.

I am also the organizer for several meetup.com groups: Chicago NLP Practice ClubChicago ADD ADHD Meditation Circle, Positive PsychologyChicago Tao Cultivators and Chicago Young Earth Human Alliance (Y.E.H.A.).

_

Chicago NLP Practice Club:

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is user’s manual of your brain. The club is open to any communication novice who wants to become an even better communicator, learn the process of growth and personal development, or master to become an expert modeler. Come to join us if you are interested in using NLP for influential communication, persuasion and beyond.

Chicago ADD ADHD Meditation Circle:

brainMeditation is a type of mental training to helping you focus attention, balance your emotions, improve your relationships, and enhance your life.

Meditation does not always have to be in a form of sitting cross-legged with your eyes closed forever. With this group, you will experience physical and mindfulness exercises such as deep stretching, breathing, relaxation and active meditation. We will also be sharing ADD/ADHD related information, resources and experiences.

Positive Psychology

positivity

As a hybrid of a book club and a coaching group, we explore, share and implement ideas in the area of Positive Psychology to our day-to-day life, such as Martin Seligman’s “Authentic Happiness”, Tal Ben-Shahar’s “Happier”, Sonja Lyubomirsky’s “The How of Happiness”, etc.

Chicago Tao Cultivators

TaoThe group starts with, while not limited to, Tao Te Ching and Chuang Tzu, the two Chinese writings of philosophies. Curiously, Tao Te Ching represents on one level a primer for how a ruler should run a country. Chuang Tzu is less well-known but more “earthy” and more accessible – plus a little more ridiculously informative. The “skill stories” are particularly poignant and memorable.
